Reach inside and grab the gear. It will be a tight fit bringing it out, but it will come out.

Inside the gears there is a pair of needle bearing cages and a metal spacer inside.

Inside the case where the last gear came out there is a pair of thrust washers. Notice the one on the left "Front" has a metal spacer behind it.

On the back of the thrust washers there is a key way that more or less slides into the side of the case in the slot.

Heres the front side with the metal spacer behind it.

I think when that front bearing went out it put metal shavings everywhere. Im surprised this bearing didn't cake up and fail as well.

Case nearly gutted. I have to pull the bearing off the main shaft, pull the bearing out of the case where the Transmission passes though and pull the front snout apart. Its only my second day. =)

Every part so far has been cleaned with brake cleaner and given a careful look by my trained technitions and placed in bags with their corresponding fastners.

Ok, I lied no trained technitions. Just myself because I don't want to loose anything and Im notorious for wondering where a bolt went or where a spring is suppose to go.
