Quick Start
Step 1

Launch the config.exe and browse to your music path and make sure you have the audio library selected from the drop down box and click on generate music library.

NOTE: You have the option of checking several boxes here:
• You can generate the GENRE libries if you intend to use the genres functions of the jukebox.
• You can also reverse artist names stating with THE. So THE BEATLES would become BEATLES, THE which makes finding easier as they will be listed under B for BEATLES and not T.
• The Cover name box is used to the HTML generation and only needs to be changed if you are making an HTML catalogue

Step 2
Now you will see the WORKING message displayed, this is searching for all your MP3’s you have to wait.

Step 3
It is now informing you how many MP3’s it has found on your harddrive, once you click ok it will scan all of these to build the tag information into the database

Step 4
You can see the progress bar moving along at the bottom of the screen. You need to let this complete it can take a while if you have a large amount of MP3’s for the program to work through.

Step 5
It has now completed that task, click on ok and it can save out the album information. The errors are logged in ERROR.TXT and this will show you the untagged files to help you tidy up your collection.

Step 6
You can now see the albums under loaded albums, if they look correct then exit and launch freebox to browse and play your music. Have Fun!

NOTE:You will need to repeat the process for the Karaoke files and also the videos as each one requires it’s own database. Make sure you pick the correct Library from the drop down depending on what you are building. To play KARAOKE (MP3+G) you need to install the included codec from the zipfile. VIDEOS need to be tagged with BETATAG.
